Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Playbond handles information collected through the Playbond landing page and beta waitlist. It applies to playbond.me, www.playbond.me, and playbond-9071a.web.app. It does not yet cover any future mobile app, beta app, paid service, account system, or in-app couple experience unless this policy is linked from that product.
Who We Are

Information We Collect
At the landing page stage, we collect limited waitlist information:
- Email address.
- Platform preference, such as iOS, Android, or both.
- Confirmation that you are 18+.
- Basic technical fields, such as submission time, locale, referrer, and page path.
We also use Firebase Analytics and Firebase App Check with reCAPTCHA v3. These services may process technical information such as device, browser, interaction, and anti-abuse signals to help measure site usage and protect the waitlist from automated abuse.
Information We Do Not Collect Through This Page
The landing page does not collect account passwords, payment information, partner profiles, private playbook choices, intimate preference data, chat messages, photos, contacts, or precise location.
How We Use Information
We use waitlist information to:
- Manage beta interest and early access invitations.
- Understand platform demand for iOS and Android.
- Measure landing page performance and waitlist conversion.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate spam, abuse, or technical problems.
- Respond to privacy, deletion, or support requests.
How We Share Information
We do not sell waitlist information. We do not use waitlist information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the landing page, including Google Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Google reCAPTCHA / App Check. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse of the site.
Third-Party Services
The landing page uses Firebase Hosting, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase App Check, and Google reCAPTCHA v3. You can review Google privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy and Firebase privacy information at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Retention
We keep waitlist information for as long as it is reasonably needed to manage beta interest, send early access updates, maintain security, or respond to requests. Because Playbond is still pre-beta, a final retention schedule has not yet been adopted. You may request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
Your Choices
You can choose not to join the waitlist. If you already joined, you can ask us to delete your waitlist entry or stop contacting you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify that the request relates to your email address before acting on it.
Age Restriction
Playbond is intended only for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor submitted information to the waitlist, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Security
We use Firebase security rules and App Check to help protect the waitlist. No website or online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
If you access the landing page from outside the country where our service providers operate, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Playbond develops. If we launch a beta app, add accounts, collect new categories of information, or change how information is used, this policy should be updated before those changes apply.
