These Terms of Use apply to the Playbond landing page and beta waitlist. They do not yet apply to any future mobile app, beta app, paid service, account system, or in-app couple experience unless those products link to these Terms or updated terms.
About Playbond
Playbond is an early-stage product concept for adults 18+ focused on private, consent-first playbooks for couples. The current website is a landing page and waitlist. It does not provide a full app experience, account access, paid features, professional advice, therapy, medical services, or emergency support.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site or join the waitlist. Do not submit information if you are under 18.
Consent and Safety
Playbond is built around consent, boundaries, privacy, and mutual comfort. You may not use the site or any Playbond materials to pressure, coerce, harass, expose, threaten, deceive, or harm another person. Any future Playbond experience should be used only by adults who freely choose to participate and can stop at any time.
Waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee beta access, launch access, app availability, a particular platform, or any feature. We may change, pause, or close the waitlist at any time.
When you submit the waitlist form, you agree to provide accurate information and confirm that you are 18+. You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry by emailing [email protected].
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activity.
- Attempt to bypass security, App Check, rate limits, or anti-abuse measures.
- Submit automated, false, or misleading waitlist entries.
- Interfere with the operation, hosting, analytics, or security of the site.
- Copy, scrape, or reuse Playbond branding or content in a misleading way.
Intellectual Property
Playbond names, branding, page copy, visual design, and product concepts shown on this site are owned by Playbond or its contributors. You may view the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, redistribute, sell, or commercially reuse Playbond materials.
Third-Party Services
The site uses third-party infrastructure and security services, including Firebase and Google reCAPTCHA / App Check. Your use of the site may be affected by those services and their terms and privacy policies.
No Professional Advice
Playbond content is not medical, mental health, legal, relationship, emergency, or professional advice. If you need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
Site Availability
The landing page is provided during an early development stage. We may change, suspend, remove, or update any part of the site or waitlist at any time.
Disclaimers
The site and waitlist are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Playbond will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from use of the landing page or waitlist. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms as Playbond develops. If we launch a beta app, accounts, paid features, or a full product experience, additional or updated terms should be provided before those features apply.
